A Tax Preparer’s primary responsibility is to: prepare, educate, resolve tax issues. A preparer prepares individual and business tax. We also educate our clients about tax laws and regulations. We represent our clients to help resolve any tax matters that may arise. Please understand that the preparer works for the client and not the IRS. It is our duty to communicate with our clients about the tax preparation process from beginning to end.
The status of your refund can be checked by following the steps

2.click on check my refund
3.select the appropriate tax year
4.enter social number,filing status and refund amount
You can update your mailing address by filing form 8822, which can be found on the link below. The 1040 form is a federal tax form used to report a taxpayer’s income and deductions to determine the amount that is refunded or owed to the taxpayer. ALL CLIENTS are subject to receive a copy of their 1040 form once their taxes are accepted by the IRS. Once a copy is provided, it is the taxpayer’s responsibility to keep track of it. There will be a $25 fee associated with any additional copies requested and a 48 hr delivery period.
If you received a letter from the IRS in the mail, please contact your preparer immediately and inform them of the letter received. DO NOT TAKE ANY ACTIONS WITHOUT CONSULTING WITH YOUR PREPARER FIRST. Your preparer is your first point of contact to help resolve your tax matters. They are trained and educated to resolve those matters and to work in your best interest and not the IRS. Most Common reasons you could receive a letter include: identity verification, requests for additional information, marketplace healthcare verification (1095-A), and Reviews.Please contact your preparer for guidance on the next step to take.
